These are some snaps from todays Irish Cyclo-Cross Championships held, as it happens, in my local park, St Annes in Raheny, Dublin.
Gold went to 37 year old Joe McCall of Rocky Mountain in 1:07:11, silver to Ryan Sherlock of MAD 1:01 behind and bronze to Liam McGreevy of Banbridge CC at 1:48.
The Womens title went to Francine Meehan of Tullamore, the Juniors went to Matthew Adair of Banbridge and the Veterans title to Aiden McDonald of Bike Pure.
McCall and McGreevy set the early pace.
Sherlock chases in third.
The rest of the field were quickly distanced.
McCall forged ahead alone on lap 3.
